We leave in less than 5 days...

... and we still have a lot to get done.

Many of you know we had several photo/video gigs over the last several months. We love working with our many non-profit orgs (www.lifeimagellc.com/EVENTS), but it takes a huge amount of effort. Since we won't be here for many months to respond to photo/video/media requests, we've forwarded materials to each group. We'll be back in December to put up the 2010 site, but when we're on the road we'll have no access to our media archives. I feel a bit of responsibility making sure they have what they need. To fund our pro bono work, we have a few for-profit jobs too. We're getting those orders wrapped up (literally).

On top of the Life Image activities and trip planning, we also have a house to maintain. Rita's gardens were gorgeous this summer, but they need care too. She's been frantically preparing her beds for winter (even working outside in the rain). We also had a siding job that needed to get done, but was delayed for a few weeks. I think they'll be done before we leave. Once we get things picked up and put away, everything is ready for Andy to take over at the house. He's pretty excited about Halloween here with friends. I'm pretty certain his costume is gonna make an impression on the kids (last year we had over 800 of them trick-or-treating).
