We returned from the weekend wedding of Rita's God-daughter to find our Passports had arrived from the Kenyan embassy. I'll try to post the photos of a couple of the Visas we have. We think we're covered now, but have Cambodia to do when we return in December (theirs is only valid 90 days from receipt). Then again, you never know when a country will change their policy. Kenya only recently started requiring advance Visa's (many will let you apply at port of entry).
Otherwise, we're trying to wrap up LifeImage projects, get the house ready for Andy (who will be staying at our place while we're gone) and finalize packing lists. Rita received her MEI bag (heard about through onebag.com). I'm still not sure if I'm traveling with the frame pack (requiring to be checked) or something else. Found a possible carry-on compliant bag on eBay, which we may get.
We're not as concerned about Australia/New Zealand (1st leg) as we are the longer 2nd leg of the trip (starting next Jan). The 1st leg will be a good test of our packing and gear choices.
More later... Jeff
